This position requires a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk who will be responsible for managing daily operations in our Accounting & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of credit control procedures and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, industrial/manufacturing environment.

Description

  • Manage credit control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor customer accounts for irregularities and delayed payments.
  • Prepare regular reports on account statuses and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to set credit limits, based on risk and credit analyses.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions, including application processes and payment schedules.
  • Resolve customer credit issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support the finance department in its day-to-day operations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in credit management.

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:

  • An academic background in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a credit control or similar role.
  • Experience within the industrial / manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases.
