Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for KS2 students in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the educational and social development of students.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / a relevant teaching qualification as a KS2 Teacher.
  • Experience teaching KS2 students, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and parents.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to participate in CPD opportunities offered by Academics.
  • A keen interest in education and training.
  • Right to work within the UK
  • Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate
