This is a standard Monday to Friday days shift.

The Role

We're looking for a proactive and motivated Maintenance Engineer to strengthen the team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance of manufacturing and ancillary equipment. Your expertise will help minimise downtime, improve efficiency, and enhance the company's maintenance strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out day-to-day maintenance to keep machinery running efficiently

Troubleshooting and responding to breakdowns based on production priorities

Enhancing and improving the preventive maintenance programme

Focusing on a range of mechanical maintenance activities to ensure operational reliability

The Candidate

A mechanically focused maintenance engineer with a strong background in manufacturing/production environments

Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, fault finding, and repairs

Engineering qualifications (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) are a plus

A problem-solver with a keen eye for continuous improvement

The Package

Up to £40,500 per annum plus bonus + overtime at premium rates
