Salary: £27000 - £30000/annum

One of our market leading gas contarctors are looking for a highly motivated Team Leader to oversee heating installation quotes and associated orders. This is a key role ensuring the smooth operation in installations by managing quotes, ordering materials, and supporting the team with efficiency and accuracy.

Salary starting at £27,000 per year with and will be reveiwed after probabtion

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the preparation of heating installation quotes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements

* Work closely with suppliers (e.g., Wolseley, HPS, Bansal) to compare prices and secure cost-effective deals

* Act as an escalation point for any issues related to quotes, orders, or supplier concerns

* Lead, supervise, and train the team, conducting performance reviews and appraisals

* Ensure a full understanding of Schedules of Rates (SORs) for each contract, verifying quotes and Variation Orders (VOs)

* Monitor outstanding Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up to ensure timely processing

* Maintain efficiency in the quote and ordering process to optimise workflow and reduce delays

* Manage stock levels and clear old stock to maximise margins

* Oversee returns and credits, ensuring all processes are followed correctly

What They Are Looking For

* Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role, ideally within heating, plumbing, or installations

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in quotes and orders

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, support, and motivate a team

* Good negotiation and supplier management skills to ensure cost-effective purchasing

* Strong communication and organisational skills
