Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a nurturing and engaging early years environment, where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive. As a Nursery Room Leader, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping children’s early learning experiences. They will lead a team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care, education, and wellbeing while creating a stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Leadership Experience: Experience leading a team in a nursery or early years setting.
- Passion for Early Years: Strong understanding of child development and a commitment to high-quality early education.
- Team Player & Mentor: Ability to support and motivate colleagues while fostering a positive working environment.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Room Leadership: Oversee daily operations within the room, ensuring a high-quality learning environment.
- Child Development: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s growth and curiosity.
- Team Support & Mentorship: Lead and support a team of practitioners, promoting best practices in early years education.
- Wellbeing & Safety: Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive setting, following safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
- Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children's progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the room’s provision, identifying areas for development and improvement.
