Staff Nurse – RGN

Hourly Rate: £20.75 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Staff Nurse to join our client’s day team at their beautiful nursing home. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to older adults. Set amidst picturesque gardens, complete with a serene pond and vibrant flora, this environment offers a peaceful, supportive space for both residents and staff alike.

Requirements:

• Qualified RGN (Registered General Nurse) with an active NMC registration.
• Experience in nursing homes or geriatric care is highly preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in working both as part of a collaborative team and independently.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and efficiently.
• Regularly monitor residents' health, promptly addressing any changes, and maintain comprehensive records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop, review, and implement individualized care plans that meet each resident’s unique needs.
• Provide guidance and support to Healthcare Assistants, contributing to their ongoing professional development.
• Ensure meticulous documentation, maintaining up-to-date and accurate resident records in line with regulatory standards.
