Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Part-time available for the right candidate)
Salary: £31,600 - £43,607 per annum

Simply Education is working with a well-established primary school in Grantham to recruit a qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from April 2025. This role is perfect for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to develop their skills in a supportive Key Stage 1 setting.

About the Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. Your key duties will include:

Planning and delivering lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports pupil progress and well-being
Assessing and monitoring pupil attainment, identifying areas for development and differentiation
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and senior leadership to enhance pupil outcomes
Implementing behaviour management strategies that support a structured and focused learning environment

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1 education
Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and primary teaching best practices
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young learners
A passion for primary education and a commitment to ensuring all pupils reach their full potential
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, depending on availability
