This dynamic business is looking for a proactive and results-driven Prep Manager to join their team and lead the transformation of their prep department.

The Role:

As Prep Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the prep operations across a 24-hour production schedule, managing a small team of 6 day-shift staff and 4 night shift staff, and ensuring seamless coordination between day and night operations. This is a hands-on role, based on the shop floor, with a focus on driving improvements, maintaining high standards, and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the prep department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Drive change by implementing new processes and improving efficiency.

Monitor and enforce adherence to established procedures.

Work closely with the production and supply chain teams to ensure seamless coordination.

Take ownership of the department's performance and deliver measurable improvements.

Manage your hours flexibly to align with the needs of the business, particularly during peak periods.

Maintain and improve the company's Double AA BRC accreditation.

About You:

We're looking for a candidate who is:

A proactive and hands-on leader with a strong understanding of food manufacturing operations.

Experienced in managing teams and driving change within a fast-paced environment.

Skilled in planning, problem-solving, and improving operational processes.

Familiar with industry standards and compliance, including BRC.

Ready to take ownership and lead by example.
