Electrical/Mechanical Multi-Skilled Technician (Gasification Power Plant)

Multi-Skilled Technician Role Summary:

As an Electrical/Mechanical Multi-Skilled Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the plant's mechanical and electrical assets. Your expertise in preventive and reactive maintenance will help optimize plant performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform fault-finding and maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, panels, controls, and instrumentation.

Conduct regular inspections and condition-based monitoring of plant equipment.

*

Ensure compliance with pressure regulations and lifting gear inspection standards.

*

Maintain accurate maintenance records within the site's CMMS.

*

Support outage planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure seamless operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

*

Minimum of 4 years' maintenance experience in a heavy process environment (e.g., power station, chemical plant, refinery, or steelworks).

*

Level 3 qualification in Maintenance Engineering, with an electrical bias.

*

Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

*

Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

*

Ability to scope, plan, and execute small projects independently.
