Accounts Assistant

Our fantastic client based in Quedgeley is currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. With over 40 years of industry experience, this is an exciting time to join this growing business.

Supporting the Finance Manager, you will play a vital part to the organisation’s finance function. Previous finance qualifications are not a necessary requirement for this role, however, previous working accounts experince will be key.

Responsibilities

-Matching supplier invoices to POs and posting to ledger.

- Supplier payments.

- Supplier statement reconciliations.

- Ensuring accounts payable ledger is in good order and dealing with queries.

- Expenses, mileages claims and payments.

- Bank and Credit Card reconciliations.

- Customer account credit checks and setting limits.

- Sales invoicing.

- Some debt chasing for cover.

- Month End tasks including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.

- Daily KPI reporting.

- Running month end reports.

- Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Key Attributes

- Previous finance/accounts work experience essential

- Well organised, numerate individual

- Team player

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5h pw

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
