Spirehouse are currently supporting a West Midlands based Housing Association in need of a Housing Support Worker.

The Opportunity:

My client in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Housing Support Worker on a permanent basis with an immediate start available. You shall have experience within supporting those vulnerable to independent accommodation and providing Housing related support.

Please note this is not a Care position so Care Workers need not apply as your application shall not be considered.

The successful candidate will have:

* A Social Housing background and additionally experience performing Housing Management duties i.e. welfare and benefits advise / guidance

* Excellent customer service skills along with communicational skills

* A good working knowledge of universal credit

* Prior experience in supporting vulnerable client groups to independent living

* £15.00 per hour via Umbrella

* Full time working pattern - 37 hours

* 3 Months interim - Possibility for permanent employment

Requirements:

* Full UK driver licence with access to a vehicle

* Previous experience within this remit
