The Assistant Construction Project Manager Role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll join a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy involved in a diverse array of exciting projects. From high-profile Higher Education and Commercial Developments to luxurious Hotels, Leisure complexes, Retail ventures, and Restoration projects, you'll be at the forefront of delivering impressive outcomes.

You'll receive extensive training and support as you delve into key areas such as Project Management, Employer's Agent duties, Procurement, Dispute Resolution, and Construction Management. Key Responsibilities:

You will also:

  • Support the management of various projects across a wide variety of sectors
  • Conduct quality inspections and produce comprehensive reports.
  • Gain a strong understanding of construction procurement and contract management, especially JCT contracts.
  • Proactively address client needs, maintaining a positive and responsive attitude.

The Assistant Construction Project Manager

  • Previous Project Management experience in a UK Construction Consultancy is a MUST
  • A construction related degree qualification (QS, PM, BS)

As well as:

  • A proactive learner with enthusiasm and a willingness to tackle new challenges.
  • Practical experience with construction procurement and contracts, especially JCT.
  • A proven track record of working on construction projects
  • Highly driven, with a natural ambition to achieve outstanding results.
  • A self-starter with a creative and initiative-driven approach to problem-solving.
