Are you experienced working with children with special educational needs? Zest is currently recruiting for a SEND Classroom Support Assistant on behalf of a school in Sutton Coldfield to start as soon as possible.

This school caters for primary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in school settings 0r have experience working with individuals with the above conditions.

Responsibilities of the SEND Classroom Support Assistant:

* Providing 1:1 support for students during classroom activities

* Implementing behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment

* Working collaboratively with other members of the support staff

* Monitoring and recording student progress

* Assisting with personal care needs when required
