Manpower is currently looking for Repair/ Service Technician for our busy manufacturing client based in Dronfield.

Contract - Permanent
Location - Dronfield
Salary - up to 28K DOE
Working hours - 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm

Our ideal candidate will ideally have experience in a Production & Test Environment. Lean manufacturing knowledge/awareness and Level 3 NVQ/BTEC Minimum or relevant equivalent experience

Job purpose
The main purpose of this role is to carry out a repair service function operating within the production department in compliance with ISO9001 accreditation. Deliver a cost-effective repair service in line with customer service and quality expectations. Provide timely support to our internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Day to day repair function consisting of assessment, service/repair, fault finding and calibration.
Create the quality feedback loop between the service centre and the quality department.
To report non-conforming material and submit improvement change requests.
Provide timely after-sales support to all internal and external customers in line with the agreed expectations of the business.
Ensure all third-party approvals are compliant for the department.
Maintain the working standards in line with operational organisation and the 5S policies.
Ensure that all relevant health & safety policies and procedures are observed.
Perform other duties and tasks as required by the business.
