The company

A leading global market leading contractor is actively seeking a Section Engineer (Civils) to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the South West/Wales area with a huge pipeline of work globally. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value projects within a stable and rapidly expanding sector.

The role

As the Section Engineer, you will play a major role in delivering one of the largest data centre projects in the South West/Wales area.
Manage and supervise the construction of civil engineering works including foundations, structures, drainage, and external works.
Ensure the execution of work aligns with technical specifications, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate activities and ensure the smooth progression of works.
Could this role be for you?

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Section Engineer or similar role on major (£100m+) infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
Data centre experience is ideal.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and experience in groundworks, concrete structures, drainage systems, and site logistics.
Excellent understanding of health and safety practices within a construction environment.
CSCS card and SMSTS qualification (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Proficiency with engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and GPS survey systems.
