The Role:

As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, focusing on a broad range of subjects within the humanities curriculum.
Plan and implement engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking and student participation.
Create a stimulating and positive classroom environment that nurtures students' academic and personal growth.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Collaborate with other teachers to enhance curriculum delivery and ensure the highest standards of education.
Actively contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and faculty meetings.

Ideal Candidate:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), PGCE, or an equivalent qualification.
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
Passionate about Humanities and dedicated to inspiring students.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage diverse learners.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.
