Building Services Engineer

A leading organisation working on a wide range of complex, non-domestic projects. This role offers the chance to drive sustainable engineering solutions across a varied and high-impact estate.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead on the design, maintenance, and upgrade of mechanical and electrical services
• Oversee building services aspects of new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs
• Manage and coordinate external consultants and contractors
• Carry out condition surveys, technical assessments, and feasibility studies
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and sustainability targets
• Contribute to strategic asset planning and lifecycle cost analysis
• Provide expert guidance on energy efficiency, renewable systems, and carbon reduction
• Support the development of building performance standards and documentation
• Act as a key technical advisor for internal stakeholders

What you’ll bring:

• Strong background in Building Services Engineering (mechanical or electrical bias)
• Experience delivering complex capital or maintenance projects
• Knowledge of relevant building regs, health and safety, and energy standards
• Degree or HND in a relevant field + membership of a professional body (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE, IET)
• Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical reporting skills
