General Building Maintenance Engineer - Midlands

Our client is a well-established Facilities Management company that has excelled and enjoyed record levels of growth in the past 2 years and now requires additional engineers to join their growing, friendly team.

Responsibilities:

* Undertake routine Reactive tasks in line with latest statutory guidelines, legislation & company procedures.

* Assisting with/leading scheduled PPM contract visits.

* Attending sites for urgent reactive works.

* Liaising with office staff to progress jobs in an effective and timely manner.

* Have good working knowledge of current Health & Safety and other relevant legislation.

* Diagnose building fabric failure during PPM maintenance & advise accordingly

* Provide Reactive repairs to a variety of building fabric items

Candidate Specification:

Essential:

* Full, clean Driving Licence

* Experience within Commercial settings

* Multi-skilled in a variety of Building Fabric skillsets

Desirable:

* 2+ years' experience

* Proficient with IT (work is issued and reports filed electronically)

* It would be hugely advantageous to be able to deal with: Roofing patch repairs, Altro flooring repairs, General flooring repairs, Doors, Windows/Glazing, General Decorating works, Basic Plumbing
