Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commodities Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role combines traditional HR functions with an in-depth understanding of the commodities trading environment. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring the firm attracts, retains, and nurtures top talent while fostering a supportive, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Talent Acquisition & Management

* Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier commodities and broking professionals.

* Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.

* Build strong relationships with hiring managers to identify talent needs and ensure alignment with business goals.

2.

Employee Engagement & Development

* Design and implement professional development programs tailored to the needs of commodities professionals.

* Foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement through performance reviews and career progression planning.

* Lead employee engagement initiatives to promote retention and job satisfaction.

3.

Compensation & Benefits Management

* Benchmark industry standards to ensure competitive compensation packages.

* Manage payroll, benefits, and rewards systems to align with company policies and market expectations.

4.

HR Compliance & Policy Management

* Ensure compliance with all local and international labor laws and regulations.

* Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring they meet legal standards and reflect company values.

5.

Strategic HR Initiatives

* Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.

* Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to build a welcoming and inclusive workplace.

* Drive change management efforts to adapt to the fast-paced commodities trading environment.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in the commodities or financial services industry.

* Strong understanding of the broking or commodities trading environment, including its challenges and opportunities.

* Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and strategic HR planning.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

* Familiarity with HR software and tools.
