?? Location: Surrey (within an hour’s commute)?? Contract: Permanent? Hybrid: Flexible Working

? Why This Role Could Be the Ideal Next Step

This is a pivotal opportunity for an Audit Senior or Supervisor to join a forward-thinking team that stands apart from the norm. The current team comprises professionals predominantly from Big Four and Top 10 firms, ensuring a high standard of work. Despite this, the culture remains low-ego, inclusive, and highly collaborative.

The role offers exposure to listed companies, group audits, and a broad range of sectors — including technology, luxury retail, the arts, and motorsport. Collaboration with Big Four teams is common, yet this environment ensures that every team member's voice is heard and valued.

?? Responsibilities

  • Lead audits from planning through to sign-off in close coordination with managers and directors

  • Support junior team members and ACA trainees, both onsite and remotely

  • Take ownership of risk assessments and maintain audit quality standards, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients from the outset

  • Provide expert guidance on FRS 102, and IFRS where applicable, while staying informed on evolving standards

  • Contribute to shaping a high-performing team with clear progression opportunities toward managerial positions

? Clients and Audit Scope

The client base includes businesses with turnovers exceeding £10 million, international groups, and publicly listed companies — including several well-known names. Many audit engagements are conducted alongside Big Four firms, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile assignments.

Beyond audit, the role also offers opportunities to engage in advisory work and apply commercial insight.

? Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification with a minimum of three years’ audit experience

  • Strong grounding in UK GAAP and FRS 102 (IFRS experience is advantageous)

  • Proven ability to lead audits and thrive in a client-facing role

  • A mentoring mindset, with a passion for supporting junior colleagues

  • Residency within one hour of Surrey (e.g., Wimbledon, Kingston, or Guildford) is preferred

?? Tech & Tools

The firm utilises a modern suite of audit tools — streamlined, cloud-based, and efficient — avoiding the inefficiencies of outdated systems.

? Perks & Benefits

  • A highly competitive salary package, benchmarked against Big Four compensation levels

  • Enhanced pension scheme

  • Car cash allowance

  • Private medical insurance

  • Life assurance

  • Cycle to work scheme and childcare vouchers

  • Gym membership discounts

  • Opportunities for international secondments

  • Flexible working hours and hybrid arrangements

? Company Culture

Established in 1933, the firm blends the prestige of a long-standing legacy with a dynamic, people-first culture. Located in a leafy Surrey setting, the office offers a welcome contrast to the fast-paced London commute
