A highly successful Freight Forwarding company with multiple locations is looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join their Heathrow team. If you have experience in freight forwarding operations, key account management, and new business sales, this role could be the next exciting step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain a robust customer base across Air, Sea, and Rail Freight services.

* Own the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing, with full accountability for achieving growth targets.

* Proactively generate leads, follow up on company-driven referrals, and cultivate relationships with both new and lapsed customers.

* Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery specifics to successfully close deals and drive revenue growth.

* Work closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless integration of sales and operational efforts.

* Maintain a pipeline and manage sales activities using CRM software, with a focus on driving consistent, measurable growth.

Requirements:

* Freight Forwarding experience is essential for this role, ideally with a background in sales or key account management.

* Proficient in freight quotations, rate negotiations, and knowledgeable in pricing structures.

* Solid IT proficiency, with experience using CRM systems to track and manage sales activities.
