Salary: £25000 - £35000/annum 20 days hol + bh & pension

My well established Midlands based M&E company are looking for a Commercial Administrator to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth coordination and administration of their commercial operations, working closely with project management and finance teams to support the successful delivery of new build housing projects.
Duties:-
* Assist in the preparation, review, and management of contracts with clients and subcontractors adhering to compliance at all times.
* Support project managers in tracking / monitoring the progress of installations across multiple sites, ensuring all documentation / certifications are up to date.
* Assist with the preparation of cost reports, purchase orders, variations and invoices, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
* Monitor budgets and expenditure, flagging in any discrepancies to the commercial team.
* Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, coordinating the timely delivery of materials and services.
* Assist with negotiating pricing and contract terms to optimise project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Manage and organise project-related documents such as contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and correspondence.
* Generating reports on project progress, cost analysis, and budget forecasts for senior management to review.
* Ensure all commercial activities adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements.
Key Skills:-
* Essential you have worked as a Commercial Administrator or similar role within a construction, M&E or infrastructure sector.
* Good knowledge of construction and housing industry processes - particularly contracts, cost management, and supplier coordination.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to multiple task and meet deadlines simultaneously.
* Proficiency in MS Office and experience using project management software
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
* Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement
