Salary: £162 - £224 per day

Zest Education is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join our dedicated team at a secondary school in Telford. This full-time position is available to start as soon as possible and will continue for the rest of the academic year.

The ideal candidate must be a fully qualified Maths teacher with a strong ability in behaviour management. If you are looking for a new school that is 'Good' OFSTED rated, along with having a supportive SLT this role could be for you.

The school is looking for someone to take on the full teaching role, planning and marking lessons, in class tests/exams. This also means the chosen candidate will be an integral part of the wider maths department liaising with other staff to ensure students are reaching their target and creating plans for those that are struggling.

The successful applicant will have:
  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Mathematics and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
