EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for an NDT Technician to join a precision engineering company located in Sheffield, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a precision engineering company located in Sheffield. They are a leading specialist in the manufacturing of complex components for high-profile, highly regulated industries and are looking for a PCN Level 2 NDT Technician (Ultrasonic) to join them on a permanent basis​​​​​​.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Conducting manual NDT using Ultrasonic to high standards on various tube, bars, forgings etc

* Setting up and calibrating automated ultrasonic equipment

* Develop and document NDT Techniques with a view to improving and constantly evolve

* Compile and support related documentation

* Perform physical and visual inspection of raw materials and components

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

* PCN Level 2 Qualification in Ultrasonic Testing

* Experience inspecting fabrication and/or machined components

* Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings

* Ability to check / inspect parts through visual and dimensional processes

* Worked within a precision engineering environment, businesses/organisations that supply into industries such as; Aerospace, Defence / MOD, Nuclear, Marine, Motorsport, Petrochemical
