. Role Overview:The Technical Manager (Mechanical) will oversee mechanical and public health installations, ensuring safe and efficient commissioning processes. The role ensures systems are installed, tested, and operational in line with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical and public health systems to meet project specifications.
- Identify and manage risks to critical path items, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide guidance on preparing mechanical systems for commissioning.
- Report commissioning progress to stakeholders accurately and on time.
- Develop commissioning plans and track milestones to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, building codes, and QA standards.
- Evaluate commissioning processes, suggesting improvements for efficiency.
- Monitor project progress and flag potential risks to key milestones.
- Resolve issues during installation and commissioning phases to minimize delays.
- Collaborate with teams and clients to align commissioning activities with project goals.
Key Skills & Experience: - Proven experience in mechanical systems, installations, and commissioning.
- Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and QA standards.
- Excellent communication skills and experience reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Leadership experience with the ability to guide and collaborate with teams.
Qualifications: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in mechanical systems and public health installations.
- Project management and commissioning experience in construction or engineering sectors.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
