Automotive MIG Welder
Location: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £20-£22 p/h
Contractor Pay Rate: £24 p/h

We are recruiting a MIG Welder for a vehicle recall project based in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire on behalf of our client.
The Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
* Removing seats and carpets to gain access to the area requiring the retro repair.
* Undertaking a small amount of welding to secure new component in place.
* Applying anti-rust proofing to the affected area.
* Refitting all components removed to complete the recall work.
* Performing repetitive tasks with precision to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have:
* A valid MIG Welding certificate.
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Panel Technician, or MET Technician is highly desirable.
* A qualification as a Vehicle Technician would be a strong advantage.
* An eye for detail, as well as the ability to perform repetitive work to a high standard.
