Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Head of Music to join a secondary school in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced music teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who either has head of department experience or is ready to take on a leadership role. You will be responsible for overseeing the Music department, developing the curriculum, and inspiring students to develop their musical talents.

Required Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Previous head of department experience or the ambition to step into a leadership role

* A passion for music education and the ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff

* Strong organisational and communication skills
