Details of a General Operative based in Shirley, Solihull

• Monday to Friday - 7.30am till 5pm
• Static Shifts
• Pay £12 - £13 Per hour
• Overtime available
• Long term opportunity

As a General Operative you would be required but not limited to:

• Use various hand and power tools
• Operating a Guillotine and Brake Press
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• General workshop duties
• Basic machine operations
• Stock control
• General housekeeping duties
• Additional duties as required

As General Operative you would ideally have the below skills

• The ability to prioritise tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods
• The ability to work within a team environment
• Previous experience operating an overhead crane
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance fork lift truck
• Previous experience using a band saw and cutting steel
