Day to Day of the role: - Gather and monitor financial data such as sales revenues and liabilities.
- Prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Analyse detailed costs and revenue drivers.
- Manage tax payments and support internal and external audits.
- Assist in budgeting for the company and individual departments.
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies and conduct detailed risk analyses.
- Analyse financial trends and perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Engage in and support team development and assist finance leadership with ad-hoc projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Financial/Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Driven and curious, with a desire to learn and articulate ideas clearly.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures and solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities.
- Commitment to confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree with a keen interest in finance.
- Additional certification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA – Finalist/Newly Qualified) is advantageous.
- Must be within commuting distance to Harlow, Essex.
