Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Airfreight Import Clerk for a worldwide Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
* Liaise / communicate closely with clients on all aspects of the import process
* Co-ordination with overseas offices.
* Complete customs declarations correctly allowing smooth customs clearance.
* Arrange cargo delivery.
* Co-Ordination with Warehouse in support of Import Clearance, Storage and Delivery to Customer.
* Liaise with airlines / handling agents.
* Preparation and processing of customer Invoicing.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:-
* 5 - 10 Years' experience within an Air Import Dept.
* Strong Administration background with High level of Written and Verbal communication skills.
* Be able to communicate with customers and colleagues using all mediums.
* Knowledge of ASM / UFS systems.
* Knowledge of HMRC processes and procedures.
Ability to:-
* Work on own initiative.
* Handle customers and their queries.
* Willingness to work shift pattern, including weekends.
* Be a team player.
* Have a positive attitude.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* Communicate effectively with our clients.
