Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastor to lead our congregation with integrity and faith. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for mentoring, and the ability to educate and inspire individuals of all ages. This role requires a commitment to providing spiritual guidance, community support, and fostering a welcoming environment for all members.
Duties

• Deliver engaging sermons that resonate with the congregation and promote spiritual growth.
• Provide pastoral care, including counselling and support for individuals and families in need, particularly in hospice care settings.
• Lead educational programs for children and adults, ensuring that teachings are relevant and impactful.
• Mentor church members, encouraging their personal and spiritual development.
• Organise and participate in community outreach initiatives, including fundraising activities to support church missions.
• Facilitate worship services, prayer meetings, and other religious gatherings to foster community engagement.
• Collaborate with church leadership to develop strategic plans that align with the church's vision and mission.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pastoral roles or similar positions within a faith-based community.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire others through example.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey messages of faith.
• Experience working with children is highly desirable, as well as a background in hospice care or similar supportive environments.
• A commitment to continuous personal development and education in theological studies or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups within the community while maintaining a strong sense of integrity and compassion.
