Microsoft Azure Engineer

• Salary: £50k-£55k
• Hours: 37 per week
• Type: Hybrid (1 day per week in office, 4 days per week at home)

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading IT provider based in Epsom.

Role Purpose

• To provide 2nd line support managing cloud infrastructure in Azure

Main Duties

• Take responsibility for handling requests from CSP clients or resellers regarding their Azure environment
• Contribute to developing a comprehensive internal knowledge base for team members to access tips and solutions.
• Deliver timely and accurate updates to customers or CSP resellers, keeping them informed throughout the ticket's progress.
• Effectively manage and prioritize open and unresolved Azure tickets, coordinating with all third parties involved.
• Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and find solutions to resolve problems.
• Adhere to standard procedures for escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a Technical Support team specializing in Microsoft Cloud services.
• Strong familiarity with and comprehension of the Azure Management Portal.
• Practical experience in troubleshooting Azure services.
• Understanding of Conditional Access and MFA deployments.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS:900)
