Senior Associate (Banking) | Up to 75,000 + Bonus & Shares | Hybrid | Central London

IN2 Consult are working with a client within the Fintech industry who are looking to bring in a Senior Associate to work as a part of a growing team that will be focusing on product control, reconciling the balance sheet and large volumes of data.

Job Duties:

Execute BAU (Business As Usual) accounting and reconciliation processes, maintaining robust controls over key trading account balances.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with sustainability goals
Analyse and reconcile data from multiple systems to detect control gaps and reconciliation breaks.
Collaborate with Product, Treasury, and Finance teams to investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Conduct data analysis and reporting to improve the management of compliance-related business resiliency risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for reconciliations, ensuring adherence to IFRS requirements.
Monitor and assess the implementation of resiliency testing programs, ensuring 100% compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation and processes for period-end close and audit purposes.
Continuously seek to enhance data integrity, automate processes, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency.
Participate in project work or product development initiatives alongside regular responsibilities

Education:

ACA or ACCA qualification
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in either Banking or Investment Banking

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practises
Ability to analyse complex financial data and identify discrepancies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong expertise within complex balance sheets
Comfortability with large sets of data
