About the Role:As a School Support Worker in this specialized environment, you'll play a crucial role in assisting students with autism, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and socially. You'll be joining a supportive, inclusive team committed to fostering a positive, structured environment tailored to the unique needs of each learner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with autism, assisting them in their day-to-day learning and social development
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Assist with behavior management and promote positive behavior in line with school policies
- Help to create a safe, nurturing space that meets the individual needs of each student
