We have been instructed by one of our manufacturing clients in Medway to support in their recruitment of a Quality Engineer.They are looking to appoint an individual with experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing or engineering environment. It would also be desirable to have ISO 9001: 2015 Internal Auditor training, although the company will provide this if not.The successful appointee will be reporting into the Senior Quality Engineer and will be responsible for:

• Project managing product approval process from initial application through to completion of third-party certification.
• Coordinating and reporting on the Engineering Change Request system to ensure activities are managed and effectively completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all product and quality system related documentation are maintained and controlled.
• Maintain internal product audits schedule, perform all necessary duties as an internal auditor.
• Support senior quality staff during day-to-day quality control and Quality assurance activities.
• Provide engineering support to operational departments ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.

Essential experience required:

• Minimum of 2 years engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years quality assurance experience.
• The ability to read and understand Technical and Engineering drawings.
• Level 4 Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering principles
