Damicor are actively recruiting for an Electrical Estimator to be based close to Heathrow Airport.

You will play a crucial role in the effective management of the estimating department ensuring projects are tendered successfully, delivered on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate closely with Contracts Managers and the Procurement Team to ensure efficient tendering and project delivery.

* Undertake Tender Enquiry activities, considering both commercial and technical aspects while adhering to our non-collusive policy.

* Assess and record project risks via the risk register.

* Provide technical guidance, advice, and bid support, including tender programmes and methodologies.

* Conduct site visits when necessary to understand tender requirements.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry networks and clients.

Qualifications:

* Applicants should come from an electrical background, ideally as a Qualified Electrician or holding an Electrical Engineering Degree.

* Skills, Competencies, and Other Qualities:

* Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit.

* Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure competitive prices.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* High level of competency in MS Office packages.

* Excellent verbal, written, and numerical skills.

* Ability to multitask and thrive in a demanding environment.

* Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
