Salary: Paid to Scale (M1 - UPS3)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM + Additional (Full Teacher Responsibilities)
Ofsted Rating: Good (2023)

Position Overview:
An Ofsted Good school in Northampton is looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher. This role is available on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right individual, or as a direct permanent appointment if preferred. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and contributing to the wider Science department.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and participation in school events.Requirements:

Ideally, the candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Must have an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
Strong subject knowledge in Science with the ability to teach across various Key Stages.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
