£162.31 - £240 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Maths Teacher to work within an Alternative Provision in Burnley. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4.
Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4
* Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
* Manage and deescalate challenging behaviour in the classroom.
* Support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of education and support for students

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Maths to students from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4
* Ability to manage and deescalate challenging behaviour.
* Understanding of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
* Experience of working with children from Key Stage 2 up to Key Stage 4
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
