Level 3 Mac Support Desktop Engineer (Jamf 300, Mac) - Finance - London/hybrid Day rate: £350 - £450 (inside IR35) Duration: 12 months Start: Now

My client is looking for a level 3 Mac Desktop Engineer to join on a freelance basis. This is a London based hybrid role 2 - 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:* Provide technical support for Mac and Windows desktop environments.* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on MAC and Windows devices.* Administer and manage JAMF for Mac device management.* Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.* Assist with the deployment and configuration of software and updates.* Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and service delivery.* Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and solutions.* Provide training and support to end-users on Mac and Windows systems.* Act as third line of support for escalated technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Requirements:* Proven experience as a Mac Support Desktop Engineer or similar role.* Strong knowledge of Mac OS and Windows operating systems.* Experience with Jamf administration and management.* Jamf 300 certification preferred. Certification will need to be obtained within the first 3 months.* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, JAMF Certified).
