Are you a Fleet Engineer or similar from a Haulage background looking for an autonomous leadership role within a well-established company offering the opportunity to put your stamp on the department and create impact within the business as an integral part of the senior management team?

This leading Haulage company have been established for almost 100 years and work with a broad range of clients across the UK. They have seen continual success with over 250 employees and a turnover in excess of £30m, and are now looking to bring in a Fleet Engineer to help manage an ever increasing workload.

This varied role will see you working Monday-Friday as you oversee a fleet of 410 vehicles, split between 160 trucks and 250 trailers. You will oversee the team on site, all maintenance and KPI activity and be responsible for liaison with directors, customers and setting up new service contracts in addition to procurement and other workshop based responsibilities.

The Role:

Fleet size: 160 Trucks, 250 Trailers
Lead technical team
Oversee all fleet maintenance and ensure in line with rotate
Responsible for implementation of new projects processes and service contracts
Work closely with directors and senior leadership team
Collate findings and prepare operational reports
Respond to any customer queries, enquiries and complaints
Responsible for the procurement of new equipment, refurbishment of existing equipment and the sale of equipment no longer requiredThe Person:
