Grinder required to join a well-established Manufacturing company based in the Gateshead area. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake metal grinding operations using shop floor equipment. You will come from a surface grinding background and ideally have some experience with cylindrical grinding also (not essential).

Grinder Job Overview

Undertake metal grinding operations using shop floor equipment
Read and work from engineering drawings
Produce parts within quality standard required

Grinder Job Requirements

Time served competent grinder
Extensive grinding experience in engineering organisations
Be able to do surface and cylindrical grinding (surface grinding experience is the priority)
Work to detail and fine tolerances
Flexible and able to work overtime as required

Grinder Salary & Benefits

Full time - Permanent position
Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 17:15
£30,000 - £31, 270 start rate (chance to earn more after 12 week probation period should you prove you skillsets)
Overtime available with additional rate
