Exciting news - we've got a fantastic opportunity for a Site-based HSE Manager role, right within the M&E team, located at one of our client sites in Longcross, on the M3.

Let me walk you through what this role entails:

Responsibilities:

As the HSE Manager, you're at the forefront of ensuring safety, health, environment, and quality assurance standards are met on our sites. Your job is to make sure everything runs smoothly, adhering to legal requirements and keeping our team safe.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Advising the directors and managers on all things safety, health, and welfare to make sure we're meeting our obligations.

Staying updated with the latest legislation changes and implementing them effectively.

Conducting regular inspections to keep everything in check.

Attending senior project management meetings to provide HSE insights and take necessary actions.

Job Specifics:

This is a new build film studio with a data centre attached.

Now, let's dive into some specifics of what you'll be handling:

Managing weekly Site H&S meetings for subcontractors.

Reviewing and auditing subcontractor "Friday Packs" to ensure compliance with our procedures.

Keeping site-specific plans up to date.

Conducting various inspections, audits, and inductions to maintain safety standards.

We're looking for someone with:

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Membership of IOSH.

Thorough knowledge of health and safety, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Relevant certifications like NEBOSH Construction Certificate, Emergency First Aid, and CSCS Card.

This role is open to either permanent or freelance candidates:

If you're looking for permanent you would receive £60,000 - £75,000 depending on experience and qualifications alongside a car allowance, travel, 33 days holiday, 2x DIS and development opportunities.

If you're looking for freelance this would be £300 to £350 a day (outside of IR35) for a minimum of 9 months with a likely extension of work.
