I am urgently seeking an experienced HR Project / Change Manager to work for a renowned University based in Central London for an initial period of 6 months at a salary of £68,406 per year. The role will focus on leading a change program to create a centre of excellence within one of the disciplines at the University. The role is based in the central London Office 2 days per week with the remainder working from home. The preference is for the position to be full time, but candidates with excellent experience could be considered on a 3 or 4-day per week basis.

The project is well underway and key stakeholders are on board. You will take forward stage 2 of the project and transformation. You must have significant experience of: -

  • Managing change / transformation in a large, complex organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder influencing and engagement skills
  • An understanding of UK employment law
  • Working with and negotiating with Trade Unions

The role will :-

  • Confidentially lead and manage sensitive project related HR issues, balancing requirement needs alongside employment legislation and ensure people risks are appropriately managed.
  • Lead and deliver on all people elements of the transformation project, with accountability to deliver within the given time constraints.
  • Work closely with the Senior HRBP to ensure that all the correct procedures are followed in terms of staff consultations, engaging with unions, considering any grading, salary, recruitment and pension issues.
  • This work will include change programmes, organisational design and development, reward and recognition work and influencing culture change.
  • Lead on and consider all associated risks to project delivery, ensuring issues are escalated as soon as reasonably practicable.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop the detailed people plans for the project, this will include considerations around Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Organisational Development, Employee Engagement etc.
  • Prepare management information to support ongoing strategic and financial planning for the transformation project.
