As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Drylining Estimator to join our dynamic team in Bishops Stortford.

Role Overview:

As a Drylining Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for drylining packages/projects. You will play a key role in the tendering process, analyzing project specifications, drawings, and ensuring that our bids are both competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for drylining projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and suppliers to obtain necessary information for accurate estimation.
Submit competitive bids within required deadlines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Maintain a thorough understanding of current market rates, material costs, and industry trends.
Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required to gather information for accurate estimation.
Keep detailed records of all tender submissions, costs, and revisions.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Estimator within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of drylining systems, techniques, and materials.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in relevant estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
