National Sales Manager - Bricks

Remuneration: £65,000-£70,000 Neg. + Competitive Bonus Scheme Benefits: Hybrid or Electric Car & Full Benefits PackageThe role of the National Sales Manager - Bricks will involve:

• Field sales management position selling an exclusively distributed range of bricks
• Responsible for 10 field sales representatives nationally, who spend the majority of their time selling into and managing builders merchants
• Leadership role who will be expected to develop/ create a high performance sales team
• Implement sales strategy aligned with company objectives
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities
• Mentoring and implementing a coaching programme
• Conduct annual appraisals
• Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities
• Manage and close high value sales opportunities

The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager - Bricks with:

• Minimum 5 years field sales experience and at least 1 year field sales management
• Construction sector/ building products experience
• Proven experience in managing and motivating national field sales team
• Knowledge of brick manufacturing, distribution not essential but preferable
• Prior experience of having sold into and managed builders merchants may be advantageous
• All building products/ heavyside building material backgrounds of interest
• Sales acumen, ability to drive sales growth and develop strategic partnerships with builders merchant’ customers
• Strong Analytical skills/ ability to interpret sales data
