We are seeking to appoint a part-time English Teacher to join our school community in Chelmsford!! This role is ideal for an NQT or an experienced teacher who is enthusiastic, driven, and passionate about teaching English. You will have the opportunity to work with polite, well-behaved, and motivated students in an environment that prioritizes teaching and learning.

As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality instruction in English to students across years 7-11. Working closely with the English department, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success and engagement of students, supporting their language and literature learning journey without the need for planning, preparing, or marking.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential in English.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan, assess, and support student progress.
Promote the welfare and spiritual, cultural, and academic development of students.
Uphold the school's values, including equality of opportunity and community cohesion.
Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience in teaching English (experience level flexible, including NQTs).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
