Salary: £35000 - £40000/annum

6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday (10-hour shifts)
The Company: Owner managed, manufacturing business based in County Durham are expanding their management team and are looking to appoint their next Production Supervisor. The business has had significant investment, changing locations to an expansive facility which is bright and modern.
Job Description:
* As the Production Supervisor, supervise and develop the production team, ensuring high performance and productivity.
* Plan and organise production schedules to meet efficiency and on-time delivery as the Production Supervisor.
* Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions when necessary, demonstrating your role as a Production Supervisor.
* Promote and ensure compliance with safety regulations, upholding the standards expected of a Production Supervisor.
* Maintain and update production documentation, ensuring procedures are followed.
* Work closely with other departments to align production goals with overall business objectives, showcasing your leadership as a Production Supervisor.
* Manage and maintain production equipment and inventory levels.
* Report regularly to senior management on production performance.
* Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Drive the implementation of new production technologies and processes.
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role as a Production Supervisor.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
* Proficiency in production planning and scheduling tools, along with other manufacturing software.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (advantageous).
* Experience in joinery is required
