Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a regional residential contractor to lead a new build residential development.

Our client is a well regarded and established contractor who are growing their presence in Yorkshire, having originally established themselves in the North East. This opportunity can offer personal progression and future career enhancement as the region continues to grow.

Responsible for a flagship residential development, you will be based in Leeds with the flexibility and mix of working between site, home or in the office.

Main duties will include:

* Internal cost reports and CVR's

* Measurement and valuation of main contract accounts and subcontract accounts

* Subcontractor procurement

* Raising sales invoices

* Payments to subcontractors

* Issue and maintain correspondence and records

To be considered, applicants must:

* JCT Design and Build, NEC and Intermediate forms of contract

* Preparing take offs and re-measures

* Understanding the external valuation processes

* Preparing internal cost reports

* Understanding changes in design and consequences to time and cost

* Working with wider teams from various stakeholders
