Engineering @ 365 are currently working with a leading supplier of machinery within the woodwork industry, they are looking for a service engineer to join there team to assist with both instillations, servicing and repairing of woodwork machinery.

Job Description:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will manage multiple service assignments, ranging in complexity and scale. Your primary responsibility will be to provide on-site support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of woodwork machinery. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing routine inspections, and ensuring optimal performance of the machinery. While extensive design skills are not required, a strong understanding of machinery operation, maintenance procedures, and safety standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for woodwork machinery.

* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery is functioning efficiently.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery operation.

* Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored service solutions.

* Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

* Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and sharing of knowledge and experience.

* Exhibit project management skills to ensure effective coordination and completion of service assignments.

* Understand project requirements including client briefs, business processes, and employer requirements.

* Assist in the identification and mitigation of potential risks associated with machinery operation and maintenance.

* Participate in service coordination and progress meetings with clients and subcontractors.

* Support the production of service proposals and documentation.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in field service and machinery maintenance.

* Familiarity with woodwork machinery and its operation.

* Strong communication and project management skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
