Transport Coordinator
Location: North London
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Currently working with a well-established food manufacturing company based in London, renowned for our high-quality products and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Transport Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting our transport-related activities and providing key support to our Transport Controller.

Role Overview:
As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the daily despatch operations for multiple vans, ensuring full adherence to the planned schedule. You will conduct driver briefings, ensure all necessary documents are issued correctly, and provide critical feedback to the Transport Controller. This role also involves monitoring staff clocking, covering absences, and conducting monthly audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct full briefings for all drivers prior to departure.
Issue all invoices and collection notes to the correct drivers and ensure any returns are managed.
Equip drivers with necessary information and tools to adhere to the schedule.
Provide feedback from drivers regarding the schedule to the Transport Controller.
Ensure all routes are correctly manned and cover any absences or late departures.
Monitor clocking reports to ensure all Transport staff clock in and out daily.
Undertake monthly audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Highlight any delivery training needs to enhance performance.Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience within a busy transport operation.
Solid geographic knowledge of the UK, especially London and surrounding areas.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
